ABOUT OSTROGOTH....................

Ostrogoth is a mythical rock and roll band that has dabbled in everything from the fight for Umpa Lumpa freedom to the devout love of Prison Chicks!  From searching for a cure for the horror known as Hepatitis to becoming prime time players in the porno industry this group has done it all!

The book "Planet Ostrogoth:  The Inside Story of History's Most Alternative Band" tells the hilarious satirical tale of the legendary group's rise to fame.  This website is a companion piece to the book.  You can read the book first, navigate the website first or jump to certain places on the site as you read the book. 

No matter which Ostronomical path you choose to introduce yourself to the science of Ostronomics, you are sure to have your ass kicked and your heart warmed by our galaxy's most beloved band......OSTROGOTH!

1--Read the Book First--By reading the book first you'll be delving headfirst into the vulgarly absurd world of the OSG!  The book tells the behind the scenes story of Ostrogoth's rise to fame!  When you're done and you jump on the website you'll have a better understanding of all the pages on the site and it will add to your enjoyment of the book.  The site will also update you on certain things that the band members and their friends have been up to since the end of the book.

2--Navigate the Site First--If you can't wait for your book to be delivered or if you're a cheap ass who wants to test the waters of this world before you drop coin, feel free to roam the site at will.  You'll get to know the characters and see what they're all about before you read their back story.  You can also see what they look like and read their thoughts in their own words before The Oth Man tears apart their reputations and talks a whole bunch of shit about them in the book. 

3--Navigate the Site While You Read the Book--I'm not talking about putting the book in your right hand and the mouse in your left--unless of course you strive deep down to become the greatest Ostronaut ever!  Visiting the site while you're reading the book can be fun as hell and would probably be the way I'd do it if I hadn't been someone who knows everything about both the book and the site.  Here's a couple of examples of how this could be fun:  As soon as you're done reading the chapter on Prison Chicks you can jump online and head over to the Prison Chick Update page to find out when they're up for parole or as soon as you're finished reading the chapter that profiles Zoltar's book "Nostaradamus Ain't Shit" you can log on and check out some of his new predictions as well as the status of the predictions he made in the book!
